North Regional Aquatic Championships - Level 2

Swim South Africa hosts 5 levels in the League. Level 1 to 3. SA Junior Nationals and South African Open Nationals. This year the Olympic Trials have been added to the hectic schedule. Events are to be staged every weekend except Easter.

All events are live-streamed so parents and spectators can watch from the comfort of their homes.

So to end another successful gala for ESP – Level 2

Due to Covid, most teams were small. Our swimmers swam their way into 34 finals, overall achieving 8th place at the Hillcrest event

Karl Barbour - 12 Events, 9 Finals, 1 silver (200 Breast), Improved times in all 12 events with 16 PBs, 116 points scored, only person to swim all 12 events for the gala (incl other clubs)

Kael Ebrahim - 9 Events, 8 Finals, 1 silver (50 Back) + 1 Bronze (100 Back), Improved times in 8 events with 11 PBs, 115 points scored

Jared Wade - 10 Events, 5 Finals, 2 golds (50 Fly & 100 Fly) Improved times in 8 events with 11 PBs, 75 points scored

Roné Joubert - 10 Events, 4 Finals (1 gold – 100 fly)) Improved times in 4 events with 5 PBs, 7 points scored

Ludolph Joubert - 8 Events, 4 Finals, 1 Reserve, Improved times in all 8 events with 9 PBs, 41 points scored

Graham Peacock - 11 Events, 3 Finals, 2 Reserve, Improved times in 7 events in with 8 PBs, 29 points scored

Danika Brechenmacher - 4 Events, 2 Finals, 1 Reserve, 7 points scored
